Herd health planning is used to continuously improve animal health and welfare on your farm. We provide a proactive approach including help with nutrition, parasite control and vaccinations, managing lameness and mastitis, infectious disease testing and eradication and routine preventative health procedures.
Herd health planning involves evaluation of your herd, with clinical observations of your animals and their environment and regular and systematic analysis of farm data.
An annual review of your herd should be completed with your vet. The herd health plan also helps farmers demonstrate that their husbandry and welfare meet nationally agreed levels of best practice for Red Tractor.
