Lisa joined the practice in October 2024. Lisa is from farming background and has grown on up on the family farm in Llandeilo, recently moved down to St Clears.
Outside of work she liked spending time with family, helping on the dairy farm and local YFC.
Ceidrych Davies
Practice Manager
Ceidrych is a dairy farmer’s son from Bethlehem, Llangadog and is married to his wife Debbie in which they have two children, Carys and Jack. After graduating from Aberystwyth, Ceidrych has worked in the Agricultural Industry for the last 36 years. Firstly, he worked for NMR for 11 years, where his last role was Regional Manager. He then joined Genus as the Regional Business Manager in South Wales. During the 26 years he spent at Genus, together with a very professional team, Ceidrych oversaw phenomenal growth within business. This success was built on strong client and staff relations, which he trusts will continue in his role as Practice Manager at Dyfed Farm Vets.
In his time away from work, Ceidrych enjoys doing a bit of DIY and watching all kinds of sport. As far as holidays go, Ceidrych enjoys going on cruises with family and friends.

Ami Gardner
Receptionist, TB coordinator
Ami has grown up on a family farm in the Cwm Gwendraeth area. She has commercial and Lleyn ewes, alpacas, goats, ducks and chickens. She has recently joined the practice as a receptionist and TB Coordinator after returning from her travels to New Zealand where she worked on a 9,000 acre farm which contained approximately 11,000 ewes and 3,000 cattle.
Ami enjoys playing football in her free time for Drefach Ladies. She is also fluent in Welsh and has the pleasure of speaking the language.

Emily Clarke
Receptionist
Emily joined the Dyfed farm team at the end of May 2022 as a receptionist. Emily and her family brought a parcel of land in March 2020, and have since been very busy turning this land into a smallholding.
Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her family, horses, miniature donkeys and her dog.

Jacqueline Harris
Receptionist
Jacqueline joined the practice in April 2022. She was born in Carmarthen and has lived in the area ever since.
Jacqueline lives with her husband and 3 cocker spaniels. In her spare time she enjoys taking her dogs for walks and cooking.

Lucy Howells
Receptionist
Lucy was born and grew up in Pembrokeshire, and lives in Whitland. She’s worked as a Veterinary receptionist for 3.5years.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her 2 children, exploring the countryside with her 2 dogs (a Staffordshire bull terrier and a naughty Cockapoo). She also enjoys reading, cooking and photography.

Mandy Price
Lead Receptionist Carmarthen
Mandy is from a farming background having grown up on a mixed beef and sheep farm. She has worked within the veterinary industry since 2001, starting originally at Ark Vets and working her way up to Head Receptionist in Carmarthen Veterinary Centre, before moving to Dyfed Farm Vets at the merger.
Mandy qualified as an SQP in 2018 and can advise on suitable medication for farm animals. Outside of work Mandy enjoys walks in the countryside with her 2 children and her 2 dogs. She is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Nerys Thomas
Lead Receptionist St Clears
Nerys has worked in Veterinary practice for over 30 years, having started at Michell and Morgan in St Clears in 1990. She was born and still lives in St Clears with her husband and 3 children and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Outside of work she enjoys watching rugby, spending time with family, going out for food and socialising with family and friends.
